How Nysa turns meetings into facts with sources
Nysa's notetaker joins the calls you choose, then turns what was said into facts with the quote, date and source, so agents can check them.
Nysa turns a meeting into facts in three steps: a notetaker joins the calls you choose and transcribes who said what, the transcript becomes clear facts about people, companies, decisions and commitments, and each fact keeps its quote, date and source. Your agents read those facts, not a pile of transcripts.
Why a transcript is not enough
A transcript is a record. It is not an answer. An hour-long call can hold one decision, two commitments and a lot of small talk. Ask an agent to "check the transcripts" and it has to read all of it, every time, and it can still get it wrong.
A fact is the useful unit: "the customer asked for a Q4 start", or "Ana owns the renewal". The trouble with facts is trust. A fact with no source is a guess you cannot check. That is why every fact in Nysa carries where it came from. This is the idea behind shared memory for AI agents.
Step 1: the notetaker joins the calls you choose
Nysa's notetaker records and transcribes the calls you choose. It joins as a visible participant, so everyone on the call can see it is there. You decide which calls it joins. It only joins the calls you pick.
The transcript records who said what, which matters later: a fact is more useful when you know who said it.
Step 2: the transcript becomes facts
Nysa turns what was said into facts about the people and companies you work with, including decisions and commitments. The site calls this enrichment: facts extracted into a shared brain, as opposed to plain search over files.
Meetings are one input. Nysa also draws facts from Gmail and Google Calendar, so a fact about a customer can combine what was said on a call with what was written in an email. Nysa enriches the last 180 days of your email and calendar when you connect, so the brain is not empty on day one.
Step 3: every fact keeps its source
Each fact comes with its quote, its date and its source. In practice that means an agent can say not just "the customer wants a Q4 start" but also who said it, when, and in which meeting, and you can open the meeting to check.
Nysa's meeting search shows the same structure. A meeting result carries a title, a start time, the attendees, related companies, and counts of highlights, decisions and commitments. The transcript is available on request, one bounded page at a time. See Nysa's MCP tools, explained for the tool names.
A page for every person and company
Facts attach to the people and companies they are about. Nysa keeps a page for each person and company your team works with. Ask an agent about a customer and it starts from that page: what is known, with sources, rather than forty documents.
That is what makes meeting prep fast. Before a call, an agent can look up the person, the company and the recent meetings with them. We walk through that in prep customer calls with an AI agent.
Who gets to see the facts
Facts are scoped automatically, so each agent sees only what its teammate can see. A meeting you were in is visible to you. What reaches the rest of the team follows Nysa's access rules, not whoever asks. Email works the same way: raw email stays private to its owner, and the team sees only the facts drawn from it. We cover that in how Nysa keeps private email private, and the difference between memory and access in shared memory is not shared access.
How agents use the facts
Your agents connect to Nysa over MCP, signed in as their teammate. They can read from the brain, and they can write to it too. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, OpenClaw and Hermes are listed as working with Nysa.
The result is that two teammates' agents give the same answer about the same customer. One person takes the call, and everyone's agent knows what was agreed. See same company context for every agent.
Built-in guardrails
- Calls you choose. The notetaker joins only the calls you pick, so nothing is recorded without your say.
- Google accounts today. Gmail and Google Calendar are supported. Outlook and Microsoft 365 are not supported yet.
- Safe actions. Connected agents update Nysa only on request, and cannot send email or edit your calendar.
Getting started
Setup takes under 5 minutes: sign in with Google, invite teammates, and connect your agents. Nysa's security has been independently assessed to CASA Tier 2 and the Gmail and Calendar access is approved by Google. Your data is never sold or used to train AI.
FAQ
Does the notetaker join every meeting?
No. It joins the calls you choose, as a visible participant, so everyone on the call can see it.
How do I check a fact an agent gives me?
Every fact carries its quote, date and source. Follow the source back to the meeting, email or event it came from.
Is a fact the same as a summary?
No. A summary compresses a whole meeting. A fact is one specific thing, attached to a person or company, with the evidence behind it. A search for a customer returns what is known about them, not a list of meeting summaries.
